Each participant sets their own pace
and advances as they master the skills
required at each level.

The Camp Koda Helper Program is designed to
give the students (ages 8 and up) the opportunity to
enter into a three-level systematic step-by-step program where
the participant learns about barn and horse management, social
skills, time management, organizational skills, and team work.
To enroll, the new Help in Training must have
previous experience in the following areas: grooming, leading a
horse, tacking and untacking, maintaining and cleaning tack.
Note: Previous experience is gained by participating in weekly
Theory classes,
attending Camp Koda, or participating in the After School Fun
Horsemanship class.
Level entry and graduation to new levels are
based on the individual's readiness to learn and being
responsible for new and exciting tasks. |

This program is a prerequisite for the Camp
Koda "Counselor in Training" Program. The
Counselor in Training Program will be published at a future
date. |
